To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird - To Kill a Mockingbird will forever be a classic piece of American Literature. It is a story of how life isn't always fair, told from the innocent perspective of a young girl. I love this story! Much earlier this year I had to write an essay on the movie To Kill a Mockingbird. I'd never seen it before and had no interest in seeing it. Finally, the night before the paper was due, I sat down and watched it. It was so powerful. The acting was amazing and the story was so real. I quickly whipped out an essay about it, and my teacher loved it. I was the only one in my class who liked the movie. The book was a billion times better (if that's possible). The narrative was so perfect. I felt like I was there in every moment. The courtroom scenes were particularly intense, even though I knew the outcome. I am forever grateful to my mom for forcing me to watch the movie and read the book!
