The Fairy's Mistake
I think this is my favorite of all the Princess Tales because it's based on a lesser known fairy tale, and puts such a twist on it. You'd think that the girl who has gems falling from her lips when she speaks would be the happiest girl in the world, but not if it results in an engagement with a selfish prince and horrible illness! And the girl who's cursed to have bugs and snakes come out of her mouth when she speaks should feel cursed, right? I love Gail Carson Levine's writing and the clever plots that she creates! The Princess Tales are such fun for kids young and old!
